When It's Too Late
2 Kings 17:18 God had given Isreal every chance to turn back to Him, yet they choose to follow other gods, so He turned away from them. When is it too late for us?

"Therefore, the LORD was very angry with Israel and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone." 2 Kings 17:18 (NKJV)
God gave the northern ten tribes of Israel many chances to repent and turn back to Him. He sent prophets to warn them of their impending doom and to give them a chance to turn back to Him, yet they kept in their evil ways. The Israelites knew of all the good graces and prosperity that they had under God, but they were so far gone in their sin that they did not see it. Then it became too late for them, and God removed them from His sight, and they were assimilated by the Assyrians.
Like Israel, we can go so far away from God, that we feel there is no return and it is too late for us. Even though it was too late for the northern ten tribes, though Jesus, it is never too late for us as long as we have breath. Romans 8:38-39 says, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Jesus died for every single person on this earth and there is not one sin on the earth that He cannot forgive, except the willful refusal to repent and accept God's forgiveness.
So why do you think your sin is unforgivable? That is something Satan tells you to keep you in your sin. Choose to accept the truth that there is not one sin that Jesus cannot forgive you for. Other people my say that your sin in unforgivable, but it doesn't matter what they think. They are not God. They are sinners just like you. When you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, you are like the woman caught in adultery, and Jesus says to you, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more." Choose to accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, because as long as you have breath, it's never too late.
