As Christians, we endure hardships, persecutions, trials, temptations, and the ongoing struggle against sin.

My books are about perseverance through suffering and steadfast faith, fueled by God’s presence, the support of other believers, and the promise of a future with Christ.

I make the fictional characters relatable by portraying their struggles and flaws alongside their faith, showing them as imperfect but growing believers rather than perfect saints.

About the Author:

Jerry and his wife, Heather, have been involved in recovery for many years. They first started serving with Free on the Outside, which has a special focus on those reentering the community from incarceration. They opened the first couple’s recovery house in Portland, OR through Free on the Outside. After Free on the Outside, they started the first Celebrate Recovery in Keizer, OR and continue to find ways to serve those that need recovery.

By changing the way we think about ourselves, and providing support for change, Jerry wants to make the world a better place, one person at a time. “We alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples,” Mother Teresa has said. Like Mother Teresa, Jerry cannot change the world, but he can be a force in ending the cycle of pain caused by our poor decisions, one person at a time.
