What is Good and Right and True

Thus, Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. 2 Chronicles 31:20 (NKJV)
After having the greatest Passover celebration since the time of King Solomon, Hezikiah instituted sweeping religious reforms in all of Judah. He led the people in destroying pagan altars, idols, and high places, and reorganized the worship system, characterized by obedience to God’s law. He appointed priests and Levites for specific worship duties, allocated resources for regular sacrifices and feasts, encouraged tithes and offerings to support the temple service, and insured the people’s offerings were faithfully brought to the Lord. Because of his faith and devotion, Hezekiah was known by God as good and right and true.
Like King Hezekiah, when accept Jesus, we are known by God as good and right and true, describing the transformation that happens when we place our faith in Him. When we accept Jesus, we are made good because we are no longer defined by sin, we are made right because we are reconciled to God, and we are made true because we have a relationship with Jesus. Colossians 3:17 says, “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." When we live in the name of Jesus, we align our actions with His truth and righteousness, and step into a life that reflects God’s character, bringing personal transformation, and have a positive impact on others.
Choose to do what is good and right and true, and put faith in Jesus for everything you do. Read the bible daily, meditating on it, and pray for the guidance for follow God's will for your life. Help out at church, feed the hungry, cloth the needy, help the widows, share Jesus with a stranger, and be there for a friend in need. When you put your trust and faith in Jesus, letting Him lead you to do His good work, you are known as good and right and true.
