Nehemiah 6:9 Just as in Nehemiah's time we are promised to have trials, and just like Nehemiah, God gets us through them.

For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, 'Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.' Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. Nehemiah 6:9 (NKJV)
The wall was almost complete and Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem the Arab conspired to keep Nehemiah from completing it. They first tried to lure Nehemiah in the plain to kill him, and knowing their intentions, he told them he had work to finish. After four requests to meet with the same answer form Nehemiah, Sanballat sent a letter saying that he was going to start a rumor that the Jews were going to rebel and that Nehemiah was going make himself king, then he was going to report it to King Artaxerxes. Nehemiah knew that the enemy was trying to scare them, so he asked God for the strength to complete the wall, and when complete, their enemies were disheartened because they knew God was behind it.
Just like Nehemiah, we have an enemy that tries to keep us from doing God's good work, and like Nehemiah, we have help. John 16:33 says, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” Jesus promised that we would have tribulations once we became believers because we are Satan's enemy and he will not stop trying to attack us to keep us disoriented. But we have Jesus on our side, who has already beat Satan, and when we put our faith and trust in Him, the devil has no power over us, and we complete great things for our Lord and Savior.
Put your faith in trust in Jesus to get you through difficult times, knowing that in Him you will be victorious. Acknowledge that you will have trials and prepare for them with daily bible reading, prayer, and fellowship with other believers. Choose to be steadfast when you are experiencing a trial, remembering all the times He has been there for you. Keep a journal and write down your victories in Christ so that you can refer to them when you are in a difficult situation. Pray, "Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands," and God will be faithful and get you through your trials.
