Sovereign Intervention
Esther 6:10 Haman determined evil against Mordecai, but God sought only good for him.

Then the king said to Haman, “Hurry, take the robe and the horse, as you have suggested, and do so for Mordecai the Jew who sits within the king’s gate! Leave nothing undone of all that you have spoken.” Esther 6:10 (NKJV)
On the night before Haman planned to hang Mordecai, King Ahasuerus could not sleep and read the book of the records of the chronicles, finding that Mordecai foiled a plot to bring harm to the king. In the morning, when the king saw Haman, he asked what should be done for a man that he delights to honor. Haman, thinking the king was talking about him said to give that man royal robes that has been worn and a horse with a crest that the king has ridden. So, the king told Haman to take the royal robes and horse with a crest on it to Mordecai, ending Hamans plans to hang him.
Like Mordecai, God is our refuge, shield, and fortress who actively guards us from harm, whether physical, spiritual, or emotional. His protection is not always about removing all danger, but about being present, guiding, and delivering us when we trust in Him. Jesus speaks directly about protecting us in John 10:28, where He says, “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
Be open to God’s direct, purposeful involvement in your life, whether through miracles, guidance, protection, or provision, choosing to see His presence. Receive It in your life through prayer and faith, aligning your will with His, being open to the Holy Spirit leading you to be more aware of His intervention, and living in obedience to God’s word, trusting in His sovereignty and protection. God promises that He will always be there for you no matter what, and His promises are true.
