It Comes to Nothing
Nehemiah 4:15 Like enemies of Judah, Satan attacks us to cause confusion, keeping us doing God's work, but when we know his plans, his deeds are brought to nothing.

And it happened, when our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had brought their plot to nothing, that all of us returned to the wall, everyone to his work. Nehemiah 4:15 (NKJV)
When the Ammonites heard that Judah was rebuilding the wall around Jerusalem, they conspired to attack them and cause confusion that would keep the wall from being built. Nehemiah prayed to God for a solution and let the people know that God was great and awesome and would fight for them. He then divided the people into two groups, of which one guarded the wall while the other worked on it. When the Ammonites heard that their plans were known their plan to stop the wall from being built came to nothing.
Like the people of Judah, we have an enemy that is always trying to confuse us and keep us from doing God's work. But when we are keen to what he is trying to do, we foil his plans and grow God's kingdom. James 4:7 says, “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Satan has no real power over us, because he has already been defeated at the Cross by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. When we put our trust is Jesus, submitting ourselves to Him, the devil is powerless against us, his plans are foiled, and he flees from us.
Choose to submit to your Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and arm yourself to repel that attacks of the devil. Pray every morning for guidance and protection, asking God to reveal any schemes that Satan may be plotting against you. Read your bible daily and write down memory verses because the devil will misquote bible verses to confuse and make you ineffective as a Christian. Factcheck verses that don't sound right, going the best source - the bible, so you know God's true word on the matter. Read the verses before and after a quoted text to understand the context. When you are thoroughly versed in the bible and aware of Satan's schemes, his plans come to nothing, and you become more effective in growing God's kingdom.
