God Shows Up
Judges 13:12 God in the flesh, appears Manoah and his wife to let them know that they are going to have a son and how they should raise him.

Manoah said, “Now let Your words come to pass! What will be the boy’s rule of life, and his work?” Judges 13:12
How should we answer God when he shows up to meet us. God made a personal appearance to Manoah and his wife to let them know that even though Manoah's wife was barren, she would be giving birth to a son. The Philistines had been oppressing the Israelites for 40 years and He was going to use their son to deliver the Israelites out of their oppressor's hands. Jesus first appeared to Manoah's wife and told her what she needed to do, then appeared to both of them later after Manoah prayed to the Lord that the Man of God who appeared to his wife, would appear to him and teach him what he should do. Manoh asks the man if he is the one who appeared to his wife, and He says, "I am". Manoah then asks the important question... How should I raise my son? Instead of raising his son in his own way, He chooses God to guide him in raising his son.
God shows up in our lives in many ways. It could be through miracles and blessings, spiritual and emotional feelings like peace or joy, divine guidance through scripture or prayer, and through personal relationships and daily actions. No matter how He shows up in your life and what he is telling you to do... You need to ask the question; how do you want me to do it Lord. John 16:13 says, "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth." Always seek guidance from the Lord. Whatever the Lord puts in your heart to do, He will guide you in the way to go. You may not know the complete path right away, but He will be there with you with each step of the way.
When God shows up in your life, choose to listen to Him and ask for guidance. You may be asked to be there for a friend in need, deliver food boxes during the holidays, provide for the homeless, start a bible study, or talk to someone about Jesus. It doesn't matter what God is calling you to do when He shows up, it matters that you listen to Him and ask for guidance along the way. When God shows up, listen and follow, because you will do something great.
